Last Wednesday we met with the Urban Supply Cooperative «Synallois» — the second venture funded by Co-Fund under the current funding cycle.
Together with the Synallois team, we had a very interesting and productive discussion about the venture’s progress this year, alongside international and domestic economic trends and the factors affecting fair and solidarity trade in coffee with the Zapatista communities in Mexico. We then explored possible ways for Co-Fund’s support to have the greatest possible impact, both during this current season and within the context of our future collaboration.
We also received the team’s assessment of Co-Fund’s impact on Synallois, and discussed the outline of our plans for the coming months ahead of the next funding call.
Finally, we reaffirmed our shared understanding of the collaborative and solidarity-based relationship that unites us. Another partnership we are proud of — continuing with our eyes on the future!
