Kostas Vourekas was born in Filiates, Thesprotia, and grew up and lives in Athens. He is an architect graduate of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), holding a postgraduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning.
He works in his field of expertise as a founding member of the workers’ cooperative COMMONSPACE. He is also among the founding members of Co-Fund.
He serves as President of the Attica Chapter of the Association of Greek Architects. In the past, he has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Technical Chamber of Greece and General Secretary of the Union of Salaried Technicians.
In his free time, he listens to music, plays board games, and strives to maintain his academic engagement with the city and spatial studies.
